Thousand Island Dressing

This makes a classic Thousand Island dressing.
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup chili sauce (the red one in a bottle, not salsa)
  • 2 Tbsp. pickle relish
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 2 hard cooked egggs, chopped fine
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard

Combine all ingredients, mix together and chill 1 hour.   This keeps well for 4 or 5 days.  You may also add drained capers.  This is also a good tarter sauce if you omit chili sauce and add 2 Tbsp. lemon juice.
